The animal is already dead, so leather/fur isn't so bad, right?

We may often hear this excuse that the aniamls are already dead, so why not wear the jacket, shoes, fur, etc...yet, the animals are only killed due to demand for those products. When the demand decreases for these skins and furs, fewer animals will be killed.
The skins and fur trade has many aspects to it. Cows are killed as well as crocodile, shark, mink, racoons, chinchillas, rabbits, seals, and many, many more. The end products from taking their flesh and fur include clothing, accessories, and furniture. With so many humane alternatives, shopping for all man-made materials is not difficult.
